Automatic cleaning of dust filters based on the detected pressure drop and/or automation with a PLC or over Wi-Fi or GPRS.
Dust filters only work properly when the filter elements are periodically blasted with pulses of compressed air that help to remove dust caked in and on the filter material. The FILCONTROL Connect control system controls the pulse timing and is adjustable according to the properties of the filtered powder as well as the type of filtration medium.
FILCONTROL Connect is the advanced version of FILCONTROL Time and activates the solenoid valves for cleaning based on the pressure drop between the clean and "dirty" air chambers due to the gradual blockage of the filter elements by dust, thanks to the integrated differential pressure gauge. Like FILCONTROL Time, FILCONTROL Connect is distinguished for its ability to manage solenoid valves with voltages from 24 V DC to 260 V AC 50/60 Hz. It can activate up to 3 solenoid valves and be expanded to 15 valves in total.
FILCONTROL Connect provides analog (4 to 20 mA) and digital outputs for the pressure meter, an S3 communication port for connecting sensors, as well as an RS485 port (MODBUS) for PLC communication and interconnection with industrial process management software. FILCONTROL Connect can be adjusted via a control panel with four membrane buttons and an LCD screen on the outside of the housing, allowing the user to configure 51 programs with variable parameters, depending on the process and the material to be filtered. FILCONTROL Connect can also be extended with Wi-Fi or GPRS for wireless data exchange between the system and the user.
The new FILCONTROL system is 100% interchangeable with the older FILCONTROL, e.g. for the SILOTOP, WAMFLO and WAMAIR dust filters, as well as for the previous range of WAMECO-type filters. FILCONTROL Connect can be used to upgrade a filter with periodic activation, e.g. with FILCONTROL Time, the earlier FILCONTROL model, or other third-party dust filter controllers.
