High-durability and cost-saving separation of solids and liquids from waste.
SEPCOM Horizontal separators achieve the separation of wastewater into solids and liquids through gravity and mechanical compression. Waste can be in the form of sludge or manure as the result of vegetable and fruit processing processes, or livestock (e.g., pig farms).
In general, SEPCOM separators can handle mixtures with large variations in the ratio of solid and liquid fractions. Thanks to its clever mechanical design, the SEPCOM separator automatically adjusts the force with which the effluent must be compressed for efficient squeezing of the waste, without the need for manual adjustment. Waste of various types and consistencies can thus be automatically separated reliably into two fractions of solids and liquids, which can easily be further processed or recovered.
The selection of suitable materials for such applications is an innovative element of SEPCOM separators' engineering design. The stainless steel shell is combined with the anti-friction technopolymer SINT® by WAMGROUP, both in the self-cleaning screw propeller and in the outlets of the machine. Depending on the requirements of the application, SEPCOM separators are available in three different sizes, with a wide range of diaphragm and outlet options, screws, as well as with different perforation sizes in the screen drum used for compression and dewatering of the waste.
